Nahargarh Fort—the city viewpoint situated on the outskirts of Jaipur is connected with the Jaigarh Fort with a long wall. The Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II built this fort as a retreat in 1734. In addition to Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort, this fort also played a noteworthy role in the defense of the city of Jaipur.
The site is decorated with ornate details and includes attractions such as Padao Restaurant, which provides its visitors with a 360° view of Jaipur City. Inside the fort, the ladies and men's quarters ‘Zenana’ and ‘Mardana Mahal’ respectively depict reminiscences of its royal past. And the tiger, leopard, and Asiatic lion found in Nahargarh Biological Park equally serve the purpose of enhancing the beauty of the fortress. It is one of the must-visit destinations in Jaipur.
